Ancelotti Unimpressed by Five Star Strikers

With Mariano’s contract nearing its end and his departure from Real Madrid virtually confirmed, Crickex App reports that the club’s pursuit of a new striker has taken on greater urgency. Ever since Karim Benzema won the Ballon d’Or, his form has been inconsistent, and it’s clear Real Madrid can no longer pin all their hopes on the French forward. For some time now, the club has been eyeing a long-term successor, but that moment of transition has officially arrived.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Los Blancos have no shortage of options. From free agents like Roberto Firmino and Marcus Thuram to rising stars such as Dusan Vlahovic and Gonçalo Ramos, even veteran Joselu from Espanyol has been linked. Yet among these five candidates, none has caught the eye of Carlo Ancelotti. The Real Madrid manager has expressed a singular interest: Harry Kane. After extensive discussions with club president Florentino Pérez, Ancelotti reportedly gave his full endorsement of the Tottenham talisman.

Still, memories fade and broken pieces don’t easily come back together. Crickex App suggests that Kane might be the least realistic target on the list. He’s nearly 30, and even with his contract winding down, the transfer fee would be steep — especially with Daniel Levy negotiating. Despite the cost, Kane is widely recognized as one of the top center-forwards in the world. His consistency and professionalism make him a reliable addition, and Real Madrid wouldn’t need to worry about him adjusting to the demands of the Santiago Bernabéu.

Kane also offers a seamless tactical fit. His skill set closely mirrors that of Benzema — both can drop deep to orchestrate play and also finish clinically in the box. In fact, Kane may even edge out Benzema in some of these aspects. The only caveat is his age; he’s not a long-term solution, and Madrid would need to spend significantly for what may only be a short-term fix. Based on the club’s traditional transfer policy, Ramos or Vlahovic might be more practical choices for the future.

Live life to the fullest — that seems to be the spirit Real Madrid is channeling. Perhaps inspired by Lewandowski’s successful late-career move, they appear willing to take a gamble on Kane, temporarily setting aside the painful memory of the Eden Hazard misfire. Regardless of who they choose, Crickex App believes one thing is clear: Real Madrid will sign a striker this summer. As for Erling Haaland, that possibility feels distant — despite the club’s storied history, there’s no guarantee the Norwegian star will make his way to Madrid anytime soon.
